Summary

Under USC 10 §1056, help is available for Military members and, where applicable, their Families to manage service-required relocation by providing standardized information and services through various coordinated relocation assistance programs.

Eligibility

Army National Guard Soldiers on state active duty are not entitled to relocation allowances or services.  Army Community Service (ACS) Centers provide relocation assistance to members of the Army National Guard and their Families when serving on extended federal active duty orders.

Army National Guard Soldiers are not entitled to permanent change of station (PCS) benefits unless orders specifically authorize PCS allowances.  However, Soldiers serving in the AGR program are entitled to PCS allowances outlined in the "Regular Army: Active Duty" fact sheet.
