Summary:

The mission of the Department of Defense Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) is to promote the well-being of National Guard and Reserve members and their Families by connecting them with resources throughout and beyond the deployment cycle. Soldiers and their Families have access to programs, services, resources, and referrals to minimize stress during all phases of deployment.

Eligibility:

Army National Guard Soldiers on federal active duty (Title 10, United States Code) and their Families are eligible for the YRRP support and resources. YRRP is designed to address the unique needs and challenges of National Guard and Reserve Service members and their Families through all phases of deployment.

Benefit Highlights:

Through YRRP events, Service members and Families connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments. Reintegration is a critical time for members of the Guard and Reserve, as they often live far from military installations and members of their units. Commanders and leaders play a critical role in assuring that Reserve Component Service members and their Families attend YRRP events where they can access information on health care, education/training opportunities, financial and legal benefits.

Events are offered at four key phases in the deployment cycle:

YRRP works in conjunction with partners including: Military OneSource, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Small Business Administration and the Departments of Labor and Veterans Affairs. This collaboration provides informative and interactive seminars and resources that are relevant to members of the National Guard and Reserve community.
